Duane Gene Straub has held many positions in the fields of broadcasting, television and education. From 1963 to 1965, he served as the Operations Manager/Lecturer at WOUB-T.V., Ohio University. Then, from 1965 to 1975 he was the Associate Director of the Public Television Library (a division of the Public Broadcasting Service) at Indiana University. There he administered business operations, acquired and distributed programming to more than 250 national public television stations, and acquired a library of over 3,000 programs, many of which remain in current distribution.
