Introduction Traffic signals serve a major role when it comes to the effective functioning of road networks, especially in urban areas. The objective of this project is to develop and simulate an effective and efficient system that manages vehicular traffic via signalized control to optimize intersection signal timing and cycle length The main performance measure to indicate whether the system performs to this standard is delay.
