Thesis (M.A.)--Özyeğin University, Graduate School of Sciences and Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, April 2018.This dissertation presents a new ultrasound communication microsystem (Pulsed Resonance On-Off Keying) as a viable alternative to today's widely used RF technologies in order to avoid the associated health risks. Special circuit techniques were proposed to overcome the drawbacks of classical ultrasound communications; such as echoes and excess ringing, achieving a measured communication range of 28m with a 50 bits/s data rate and BER of 0.01.
