In this article, I expose how the modernity/coloniality research programme thematises the concepts of critique and politics. Then, I specify how those concepts are crafted in the proposal by Catherine Walsh, where the interculturality delimits the sense of a critical thinking and of a politics addressed at the transformations of the modern-colonial order whose method is the decolonial pedagogy. On this ground, I point some theoretical-political problems derived from its exposition, mainly two: on one side, the necessary relation that is foreshadowed between subaltern condition and critical thinking; on the other, the non-acknowledgement of the intellectual experience as an instance of production of the subaltern subject.
