Asociación entre el perfil del empresario y el éxito en el emprendimiento internacional

International entrepreneurship by Mexico's business sector is basic to the country's economy via its exports. So far this sector and therefore its economy is highly dependent on the usa market. Most of the products exported by Mexico are sent to that country and manufactured by North American companies located in Mexican territory. This study describes the problems affecting this sector of the Mexican economy and the association between entrepreneur profile and success in international entrepreneurship; this study was conducted in Jalisco, Mexico and is referenced to the mag (Metropolitan Area of Guadalajara), zone with the highest concentration of exporting companies in this state. The theoretical framework of the study is supported by the theory of international trade that supports the economic development of nations from their exports and by the theory of personality that defines the human being as someone in permanent pursuit of goals. The results of the group of entrepreneurs participating in the study show that there is an association between the profile of the entrepreneur and success in international entrepreneurship. According to the results of the group of entrepreneurs participating in the study, these show that there is an association between entrepreneur profile and success in international entrepreneurship, the profile elements directly associated with success in international entrepreneurship are: Drive, Influence and Compliance.El emprendimiento internacional por parte del sector empresarial de México es básico para la economía del país, vía sus exportaciones. Hasta el momento dicho sector, y por tanto su economía, es altamente dependiente del mercado de los EUA. La mayor parte de los productos exportados por México son enviados a ese país, y son fabricados por empresas estadounidenses situadas en territorio mexicano. En el presente estudio se describe la problemática que afecta dicho sector de la economía mexicana, y la asociación entre el perfil del empresario y el éxito en el emprendimiento internacional; el estudio fue realizado en Jalisco, México y está referenciado a la ZMG (zona metropolitana de Guadalajara) por ser el área de mayor concentración de empresas exportadoras de este estado. El marco teórico del estudio está soportado por la teoría del comercio internacional, que sustenta el desarrollo económico de las naciones a partir de sus exportaciones, y por la teoría de la personalidad que define al ser humano como un ser en permanente búsqueda de metas. En cuanto a los resultados del grupo de empresarios participantes en el estudio muestran que sí existe asociación entre el perfil del empresario y el éxito en el emprendimiento internacional, los elementos del perfil directamente asociados con el éxito en el emprendimiento internacional son: empuje, influencia y cumplimiento
