ABSTRACT The rapeseed (Brassica napus L.) represent an alternative to diversify the production adapting to the soil and climate conditions of the South Central zone of the country. The purpose this work was studied the effects of the interaction of five genotypes of spring rapeseed and two typical soils representative of La Araucanía Region, Andisol and Ultisol. The experimental model corresponded to 5x2 factorial design, which consisted in five genotypes and two types of soil. Variables to be evaluated in the study were: grain yield and oil content of the seed.
