«Texts, Types of Texts and Specialised Texts». The aim of this paper is to present a review of the concept of text as used in the tradition of German text linguistics. After an introduction about text linguistics, the first part of the study defines the concept of text. The second part of the paper reviews the notion of type of text and other related terms: Textsorte und Textklasse. The third and last part is devoted to specialised texts.El objetivo principal de la presente contribución consiste en revisar el concepto de texto partiendo de la lingüística textual y siguiendo fundamentalmente los presupuestos teóricos que arrancan de la Germanística. Tras una breve introducción sobre la lingüística textual, se procederá, en primer lugar, a delimitar el concepto de texto. En segundo lugar, se pasará revista a la noción de tipo de texto y su relación con otros términos cercanos como Textsorte y Textklasse. La tercera y última parte está dedicada a la descripción de textos especializados
