La iconografía musical en la Úbeda eclesiástica

The present work tries to shed light on the theme of Musical Iconography in the plastic arts of the city of Úbeda. It is part of a eld work in which the greatest number of possible musical icons have been collected, a comprehensive analysis of these images being made, with the determination to progress in a topic almost unknown in the Genoese research, with very specic exceptions. This way, it is tried to apply to the provincial scope a methodology and line of investigation, whose purpose is to claim the necessity of conducting interdisciplinary studies, emphasizing in the importance of Musical Iconography as science.El presente trabajo trata de arrojar luz sobre el tema de la Iconografía Musical en las artes plásticas de la ciudad de Úbeda. Se parte de un trabajo de campo en el que se ha recopilado la mayor cantidad de iconos musicales posibles, realizándose un análisis exhaustivo de dichas imágenes con la determinación de progresar en un tema prácticamente desconocido en las investigaciones giennenses, salvo excepciones muy concretas. De esta forma, se procura aplicar al ámbito provincial una metodología y línea de investigación, cuyo n es el de reivindicar la necesidad de realizar estudios interdisciplinares, enfatizando en la importancia de la Iconografía Musical como ciencia
