Terrorismo y criminalidad organizada: el sistema de «conflicto permanente» en el Sahel

The fundamental tenets of International Relations on post-modernity, power and sovereignty have become more complex as a result of globalisation and growing interdependence. Where power becomes disseminated and diluted, sovereignty is shared, and the lines between competition, cooperation and conflict become blurred.In the context of structural conflict in the Sahel, the old relational patterns are no longer adequate. A perspective is needed that allows placing the phenomenon of terrorism within the current geopolitical dimension where complex relationships of mutual dependence also apply to illicit transnatio-nal actors: terrorism and organised crime.El proceso globalizador y la creciente interdependencia han hecho más complejos los postulados fundamentales de las Relaciones Internacio-nales de la posmodernidad, el poder y la soberanía. Donde el poder se difunde y se diluye, la soberanía se comparte y el confín entre competi-ción, cooperación y conflicto se difumina.En el contexto de conflictividad estructural del Sahel las antiguas modalidades relacionales ya no se revelan adecuadas. Se necesita una perspectiva que pueda colocar el fenómeno terrorista en la dimensión geopolítica actual, donde la interdependencia compleja vale también para los actores ilícitos transnacionales: terrorismo y criminalidad or-ganizad
