María de Magdala, mujer e imagen. Una aproximación a su representación en la producción pictórica de Domenikos Theotokópoulos, el Griego de Toledo.

This article analyz es succinctly the pictorial serie s about the biblical figure of the Penitent Magdalene which the Greek of Toledo (1541 - 1614) represented thoroughly and conceived as an iconographic landmark in the context of his works of art, an important part of the Women�s History, Gender History in summ ary. In these notes the attention is paid to the painting from the Szépmüveszti Müzeum in Budapest, which is studied and defined in detail, emphasizing technical and artistic issues of the painter presents in the artwork, as a humble contribution to the fi gure of the genius in this I V Centenary of his death.Este artículo analiza brevemente la serie pictórica sobre la figura bíblica de la Magdalena Penitente que el Griego de Toledo (1541 - 1614) representó ampliamente y concibió como un hito iconográfico en la producción del conjunto de su obra , como parte de lo que hoy podría considerarse historia de las mujeres, una historia de género . En estos apuntes se presta especial atención al lienzo del Szépmüveszti Müzeum de Budapest, del que se ofrece un estudio formal pormenorizado, poniendo de relieve cuestiones téc nicas y artísticas del pintor en él presentes , como humilde ho menaje personal a la figura de este genio en el IV Centenario de su muerte
