Quality management is a critical element for any firms wishing to do business on the Internet. The current research analyses the effect of the quality (utilitarian and hedonic) perceived by the customers of different websites on their level of satisfaction and loyalty behaviours. For this purpose, the work uses a sample of users of virtual travel agencies. This sector is particularly interesting to study for two reasons: the distribution of tourism services is one of the fastest-growing businesses on the Internet, and the Internet is a critically important tool for these firms� operations.
