Introduction: Foreign bodies in the ear, nose or throat are a common problem in pediatric emergency department. They may be classified as animate or inanimate. The inanimate can be additional classified as organic, inorganic, corrosive and hygroscopic. Several techniques can be used to remove the foreign body in the office but sometimes sedation or general anesthesia is required.
