Pollination is an essential processfor the correct performance ofecosystems andfood production, and has been extremely affected by human activities; understanding this process has been the subject of an increasing number of studies. The purpose of this work is to describe the key functions ofpollinators and their effects through a systematic review of the scientific literature of the last ten years.
