ABSTRACT In this research the effect of air system four crops, three of weeding (Zea mays L., Phaseolus vulgaris L. and Cucurbita pepo L.) and one dense (Avena sativa L.) on soil loss and runoff was assessed simulated surface by rain. The sampling unit were 16 lots of 1m2 experimental field in the hills of San Juan, of the Autonomous University of Chapingo, Chapingo, State of Mexico. Entisol soil loam-sandy, depth of 40cm and slope of 2%. The growth of plant cover was quantified through digital photos every 15 days after planting, the multitemporal image capturing and bare soil.
