Add to ORKGIn this article, we make a study of the development of Art deco architecture in Shanghai, by means of its most significant examples. Towards the end of the 1920's, the stylistic trend of Art deco reaches the chinese city of Shanghai. The Art deco 'boom' changes the urban landscape of the city, and becomes the reflection of the urban modernization process.
