Objective: To compare the rate of fatigue propagation in handball athletes and active women practicing strength training. Methods: neuromuscular fatigue was analyzed through the power of lower limbs and analysis of the electromyographic activity, in continuous jumps of 30 seconds. The groups were composed of GH 16 athletes and GF 12 practitioners. For the comparisons of the groups and in the jump-related variables, the t-test was used for independent samples and the paired t-test was used in the same group. The level of significance was 5%.
