Aims: The aim of this study was to qualitatively evaluate the effects of resistance training on quality of life in elderly subjects. Methods: The study included 22 older adults (68.8 ± 9.0 years) who exclusively and regularly practiced resistance training (over six months). Interviews containing ten open questions based on the Medical Outcomes Study 36 (questionnaire of easy application and understanding) were conducted. The analysis of content method and the concept of social representations were used.
