Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become an important strategy that organizations must follow. This paper aims to analyze the connection between CSR concept and management through the definition of these terms, the historical evolution of CSR concept, the analysis of their dimensions and the application of management thinking through some management theories; the stakeholder theory and the social exchange theory. In addition, we include a third theory that arises against the classical management theories; the human relations theory, which seeks for the inclusion of aspects beyond the economic benefit.
