Bullying por orientación sexual entre estudiantes masculinos

his article is a derivation of the research called “Bullying in a male school context” developed in the city of Bogotá, Colombia, in 2013-2017. The present research article takes as an object of study the homophobic bullying, one of the various aggressive behaviors observed among male students. The research sought to know the possible correlations between this aggressive behavior, the school grade and the age of the participants. In order to achieve the objective, focused on analyzing homophobic bullying and its possible correlations, we proceeded to choose a sample of 866 randomly selected students from a total population of 1,315 male students. In relation to the data collection techniques used in this research, a self-report of homophobic bullying, a student characterization questionnaire and a semi-structured interview that was done to victims of bullying were used. These techniques were subjected to validity and reliability processes. The results of this investigation allow to infer in what school grades and at what age the first behaviors associated with homophobic bullying appear, as well as to determine the repeated aggressions that occur among students, and the feelings of those who suffer them. We believe that the findings of this research can contribute to the prevention of bullying behaviors. The research could determine that the students who are most vulnerable are those who have a diverse sexual orientation. As pedagogues, we believe that education can and should create environments of respect and appreciation of difference, where everyone can access it, regardless of sexual orientation, gender or other social or cultural constructions.Les résultats de cette recherche permettent d’inférer dans quels degrés scolaires et dans quel âge ils apparaissent les premiers comportements associés aux bullying homophobe, comme déterminer aussi les agressions réitérées qui arrivent entre des étudiants, et le sentir de ceux-là qu’ils les souffrent. Nous considérons que les découvertes de cette recherche peuvent contribuer à la prévention de comportements de bullying. La recherche a pu déterminer que les étudiants qui ont une plus grande vulnérabilité sont ceux qui présentent une orientation sexuelle diverse. Comme pédagogues, nous croyons que l’éducation peut et doit créer des climats de respect et valorisation de la différence, où tous peuvent accéder à elle, sans importer l’orientation sexuelle, le genre ou d’autres constructions sociales ou culturelles. Cet article est une dérivation de la recherche dénommée “Bullying dans un contexte scolaire masculin” développée dans la ville de Bogotá, Colombie, 2013-2017. L’article de recherche prend comme objet d’étude l’intimidation ou bullying homophobe, l’un des divers comportements agressifs observes entre des étudiants masculins. La recherche essayé à connaître les corrélations possibles entre ce comportement agressif, le degré scolaire et l’âge des participants. Pour obtenir l’objectif, mis au point dans analyser le bullying homophobe et ses corrélations possibles, on a procédé à choisir un échantillon de 866 étudiants sélectionnés aléatoirement d’une population totale de 1.315 élèves de genre masculin. Par rapport aux techniques de récolte de données utilisées dans cette recherche, un auto-rapport de bullying homophobe s’est employé, un questionnaire de caractérisation de l’étudiant et une interview semistructurée qui se a fait aux victimes de bullying. Ces techniques ont été soumises aux processus de validité et de fiabilité.Este artículo es una derivación de la investigación denominada “Bullying en un contexto escolar masculino” desarrollada en la ciudad de Bogotá, Colombia, 2013- 2017. En ese sentido, el presente artículo de investigación toma como objeto de estudio el bullying homofóbico, uno de los diversos comportamientos agresivos observados entre estudiantes masculinos. Por otra parte, esta investigación buscó conocer las posibles correlaciones entre ese comportamiento agresivo, el grado escolar y la edad de los participantes. A fin de lograr el objetivo, enfocado en analizar el bullying homofóbico y sus posibles correlaciones, se procedió a escoger una muestra de 866 estudiantes seleccionados aleatoriamente de una población total de 1.315 alumnos de género masculino. Con relación a las técnicas de recolección de datos utilizadas en esta investigación, se empleó un auto-informe de bullying homofóbico, un cuestionario de caracterización estudiantil y una entrevista semiestructurada que se hizo a víctimas de bullying. Estas técnicas fueron sometidas a los procesos de validez y confiabilidad. Los resultados de esta investigación permiten inferir en qué grados escolares y en qué edad aparecen los primeros comportamientos asociados al bullying homofóbico, como también determinar las agresiones reiteradas que ocurren entre estudiantes, y el sentir de aquellos que las padecen. Consideramos que los hallazgos de esta investigación pueden contribuir a la prevención de comportamientos de bullying. La investigación pudo determinar que los estudiantes que tienen mayor vulnerabilidad son los que presentan una orientación sexual diversa. Como pedagogos, creemos que la educación puede y debe crear ambientes de respeto y valoración de la diferencia, en donde todos puedan acceder a ella, sin importar la orientación sexual, el género u otras construcciones sociales o culturale
