Condiciones de la demanda y factores de producción que afectan los aspectos competitivos del turismo en el distrito especial, turístico y cultural de Rioacha

The object was to determine the level of competitiveness of the tourism sector, it developed a comparative methodology of tourism competitiveness indicators, where an analysis of the theoretical basis of diamond Michael Porter competitiveness is addressed. Research is transverse or transectional, the selected method is the deductive and its non-experimental design; the population is made by managers and / or owners of hotels, hostels, companies promoting tourism, and restaurants. Data analysis showed that the competitiveness of the companies have an acceptable level. It is concluded that the companies have good logistics and road infrastructure, hotel, transportation, tourist variety of sites that make it competitive with other cities similar to it.Rioacha cuenta con riquezas naturales, culturales, étnicas y ecoturísticas que la ponen en un nivel de competitividad similar a los destinos nacionales. El objeto fue determinar el nivel de competitividad del sector turístico, se desarrolló con una metodología comparativa de los indicadores de la competitividad turística, donde se aborda un análisis de las bases teóricas del diamante de la competitividad de Michael Porter. La investigación es de tipo transversal o transeccional, el método seleccionado es el deductivo y tiene como diseño el no experimental; la población está constituida por los gerentes y/o propietarios de hoteles, hostales, empresas promotoras de turismo, y restaurantes. Obteniendo como resultados que la competitividad de las empresas presentan un nivel aceptable. Se concluye que las empresas cuentan con una buena logística e infraestructura vial, hotelera, de transporte, variedad de sitios turístico, que la hacen competitiva con el resto de las ciudades similares a ella
