The current research deals with the situational leadership theory and its corresponding styles, namely: 'Directing', 'Guiding', 'Participating' and 'Delegating'. The main objective was to identify the type of situational leadership that is predominant in small and microenterprises based in Asuncion, and which have been active in the Paraguayan market for ten years at least. The methodology employed in this research responds to a mixed approach, adjusted to the non-experimental, cross-sectional and explanatory type.
