Imagens filosóficas como estratégias didáticas para o ensino de filosofia

This text aims to broaden some discussions around the methodological issues for the teaching of philosophy. Initially, we extract from Plato the notion of “philosophical images” – a concept created and obtained through the free interpretation based on some dialogues. This notion consists of a vast set of aesthetic representations that permeated the universe of the imaginary in the social and cultural context of Plato. In this perspective, the images assumed a pedagogical function contributing to the sensitive formation of the philosopher king. In a second moment of the text, we present two didactics for the teaching of philosophy, both interested in the methodological problematic. Sílvio Gallo and Lidia Maria Rodrigo, emphasize in their works the need to experience philosophy (live the concept) and overcome a dichotomy between cultural deficiency and philosophical rigor. Thus, the contribution of “philosophical images” to the teaching of philosophy could be justified by the intermediate character (metaxy) between the philosophical concept and the daily life of the students.Este texto tem por objetivo ampliar algumas discussões em torno das questões metodológicas para o ensino da filosofia. Num primeiro momento, extraímos de Platão a noção de “imagens filosóficas” – conceito criado e obtido mediante livre interpretação com base em alguns diálogos. Tal noção consiste num vasto conjunto de representações de cunho estético que permeava o universo do imaginário no contexto social e cultural de Platão. Dentro dessa perspectiva, as imagens assumiriam uma função pedagógica, contribuindo para a formação sensível do filósofo-governante. Num segundo momento do texto, apresentamos duas didáticas para o ensino de filosofia, ambas interessadas na problemática metodológica. Sílvio Gallo e Lidia Maria Rodrigo, ressaltam em suas obras a necessidade de experienciar a filosofia (viver o conceito) e superar uma dicotomia entre deficiência cultural e rigor filosófico. Assim, a contribuição das “imagens filosóficas” para o ensino de filosofia poderia ser justificada pelo caráter intermediador (metaxy) entre o conceito abstrato e o cotidiano dos estudantes
