Nowadays, it is necessary for organizations to develop a transformational leadership style, to have a mission, a sense of belonging, long-term goals, shared interests and, above all, a great sense of interdependence. In this research, the leadership practices existing in the nursing personnel belonging to different public hospitals in Mexico were identified, based on the MLQ model (Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire) presented by Bass and Avolio, evaluating each of its dimensions and relating them to certain variables. The research sample consisted of 1500 nurses.
