Gnoseología y teoría de la ciencia en Roberto Grosseteste-Gnoseology and science theory

In the complex and heterogeneous work of Grosseteste, it is hard to divide analytically diverse subjects separating theological from philosophical, and within those, the diverse problematic fields. However, certain connection can be established. So, it seems that the theory of light, an essential theoretical element constitutive of its metaphysics, connects directly to the theory of illumination, guiding it´s gnoseology in the agustinino-neoplatonizante line which characterized the first period of the oxoniens philosophy. At the same time, Grosseteste was an early receptor of the Aristotle’s science theory, which assimilated correctly, as shown in his comments to the Seconds Analytics of the Estagirita. The connection between gnoseology and science theory seems to be a complicated issue, even unresolved. This paper aims to study the specific theme, trying to point the nexus (not always well integrated) between the mayor principles of knowledge, the epistemological lines and their concretion in a innovative science theory whose echoes might be traced in the philosophers who incurred in physic´s matters (specially kinetic and kinematical) through the following two centuries.En la compleja y variopinta obra de Grosseteste es difícil separar analíticamente diversos temas distinguiendo los teológicos de los filosóficos, y dentro de estos, los diversos campos problemáticos. Puede establecerse sin embargo, alguna correlación. Así, pareciera que la teoría de la luz, un elemento teórico esencial constitutivo de su metafísica, se conecta directamente con la teoría de la iluminación, orientando su gnoseología en la línea agustinino-neoplatonizante que caracterizó el primer período de la filosofía oxoniense. Sin embargo, al mismo tiempo, Grosseteste fue un temprano receptor de la teoría de la ciencia aristotélica, que asimiló correctamente, como puede verse en su comentario a los Segundos Analíticos del Estagirita. La conexión entre la gnoseología y la teoría de la ciencia parece entonces un asunto problemático, e incluso irresuelto. Explorar esta temática específica es el objeto del presente trabajo, buscando señalar el nexo (no siempre bien integrado) entre los grandes principios del conocimiento, las líneas epistemológicas y su concreción en una teoría de la ciencia novedosa cuyos ecos pueden rastrearse en los filósofos que incursionaron en temáticas físicas (especialmente en cinética y cinemática) durante los dos siglos posteriores
