A schumpeterian contribution towards studying cooperation between firms: complexity, chaos and routines as enhancers This article focuses on the need for cooperation amongst companies. Clustering is an expression of inter-organisational cooperation which has been studied in depth by Neo- Schumpeterian thinking and specialises in the flow of products, services, capitals, workers and knowledge amongst the different agents comprising countries� production sectors. Forming clusters provides each participating agent with a series of advantages which they would hardly achieve if acting separately.
