Abstract

The aim of this work is to reveal how the first human body is originated and constructed according to Thomas Aquinas. Aquinas addresses these issues in philosophical discussions, especially from Anthropology and Theodicy, as well as in theological ones. This subject is relevant not only because of Aquinas´s greatness as a medieval thinker, but also because it is a current issue. In fact, the origin of the first human body raises philosophical questions which are difficult to answer. Nevertheless, those answers could help to shed some light on the evolutionists´ debate.
