This article has as objective to presents the results about a research around the social representation of 14 acting teachers in 6 Elementary Schools in the state of Paraná regarding to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and medication. This study is justified because of the relevance to understand how ADHD is conceived by teachers in order to contribute with their professional education so that to extend their knowledge about this disorder and encourage them to develop research in this segment. The results show that the participants of the research grade the ADHD how a disorder which affects the learning and causes behavioral problems, requiring a drug treatment.
