This article deals with a current issue related to the formation of education professionals: the necessity of improving the teaching-learning process of Cuban History with an interdisciplinary approach. It contains a proposal for structuring the cognitive relations in the classes of the Cuban History discipline. This proposal has been put into practice during the pedagogical practice and has constituted a powerful device for the formation of professionals of the Marxism-Leninism-History degree.
