The purpose of the article is to reveal the historical evolution tendencies of the professional competence in the political and ideological formation process. The methods used were the historical logical, the analysis-synthesis and the critical analysis of sources. A bibliographical revision was carried out in relation to how the assessment of the referred subject has passed from 1959 to 2016. Its evolution is showed by four fundamental indicators: teachers’ level of preparation to evaluate students´ preparation; characterization of the assessment approaches applied; assessment commitment with the acting of the Party leader, and how the didactic principle on the relation between school and life in the assessment carried out by the School of...
