This descriptive correlational study aims to compare the perception about eight dimensions of school life and their relationship to the overall academic performance; between, Chilean high school students with a normal academic development (n = 545) and students with special educational needs (n = 75). By using a hierarchical and non-hierarchical cluster analysis, multiple regression and logistic regression, it was found that students with special educational needs have a less favorable perception in almost every dimension analyzed; especially, those aspects related to school victimization including but limited to aggression, and indiscipline. Likewise, they perceive having insubstantial social interaction with peers, as well as limited norm...
