Las representaciones sociales del conflicto: una mirada desde la escuela

The article shows the synthesis of an investigative work, whose objective is the understanding of the social representations of the conflict of teachers, principals, teachers and students of the academic average, in “Vallejo Arbelaez” and “Salvador” educational institutions in Medellin city. At the same time identifies their origin within the school as educational context. The concept of conflict was characterized and its constituent elements, (causes, process, protagonists and context). Describes the possibilities that are offered at the school for its treatment, plus the provenance of the social representations of the conflict with the purpose of identifying the sources that impact the community of the mentioned educational institutions. The methodology used in this study is qualitative in nature-hermeneutic; however; for the diagnosis of problems in the population resorted to quantitative data. To get clarity about the state of the object of research. It is used, as techniques of inquiry the semi-structured interview, the “fotolenguaje” and the questionnaire. It should be noted that the latter made collection of closed and open-ended questions, which were mixed questions. They allowed the respondents to expand, in its discretion, the answer in the questions raised. The technique of “fotolenguaje” analysis was applied to a shift paradigm, and the remaining two worked through a self-referential analysis. This study took the theory of social representation and its dimensions (the information, the field of representation and the attitude), as a form of knowledge because the conceptual constructs made by communities that are derived in structures of understanding of reality as well as the social representations made it possible to carry out a diagnosis of the special circumstances of a particular context, since for its elaboration a subject that shares its individual representations, and then assimilates the collectivityEl artículo muestra la síntesis de un trabajo investigativo, cuyo objetivo es la comprensión sobre las representaciones sociales del conflicto de los docentes, directivos docentes y estudiantes de la media académica, en las instituciones educativas Joaquín Vallejo Arbeláez y El Salvador de la ciudad de Medellín. Así mismo identificar su procedencia dentro de la escuela como contexto educativo.Se caracterizó el concepto de conflicto y sus elementos constitutivos (causas, proceso, protagonistas y contexto). Se describen las posibilidades que son ofrecidas en la escuela para su tratamiento y la procedencia de las representaciones sociales del conflicto, con el propósito de identificar las fuentes que impactan la comunidad de las instituciones educativas en mención. La metodología utilizada en este estudio es de carácter cualitativa-hermenéutica, no obstante, para el diagnóstico de la problemática en la población se recurrió a datos cuantitativos, para tener claridad sobre el estado del objeto de investigación. Se utilizaron como técnicas de indagación la entrevista semiestructurada, el fotolenguaje y el cuestionario; cabe aclarar que este último hizo acopio de preguntas cerradas y abiertas (mixto), lo cual permitió a los encuestados ampliar, según su criterio, la respuesta en los interrogantes planteados. A la técnica del fotolenguaje se le aplicó un análisis paradigmático y, los dos restantes, se trabajaron mediante un análisis autorreferencial. Este estudio tomó la teoría de la representación social y sus dimensiones (la información, el campo de la representación y la actitud), como forma de conocimiento, pues las construcciones conceptuales realizadas por las comunidades se derivan en estructuras de comprensión de la realidad, así las representaciones sociales permitieron realizar un diagnóstico de las circunstancias especiales de un contexto determinado, puesto que para su elaboración un sujeto comparte sus representaciones individuales para luego asimilar las de la colectividad
