This article aims to identify the influence of the period of birth on the performance and tactical positioning of high-level female football athletes of the 32 participating countries of the seven FIFA Women’s World CupTM editions. To accomplish this goal, it was collected on the official website of the entity's date of birth of 1601 athletes. As for the statistics, we used the chi-square test (X2) for analysis of the time of birth, with a significance level of p = 0.05, odds ratio (OR) and confidence intervals at 95% (CI).
