This short article narrates how democracy is built day-to-day in our school based on respect, participation and coexistence. Democracy is based on respect because if we want children to respect us, we must start by respecting them; it is based on participation because they define the rules of coexistence in the schoolyard, the class, the library, the vegetable patch, the gardens or any other space of the school by agreement; and, finally, it is based on coexistence because, in this daily construction of democracy—in turn based on mutual trust— our students know that they go to school to learn how to think and live together, because educating is also living together.En este breve artículo narramos cómo se construye a diario la democracia en ...
