The “role of women in the barter practice as a communication process of their own”, it is an investigation carried out in the Kokonuko indigenous reservation, Puracé Municipality, Colombia, and it counted with the participation of the elderly, young people, children, teachers, and council authorities that are part of this community. The purpose of the study was to know the cultural experiences, the cultural memory system, and the living testimony through interviews with family representatives from different villages that belong to the shelter.
