The poor reflection on practice, conducting student teachers and the implications of this in their training, (as the separation between theory and practice) led to conduct a theoretical review, from authors such as John Dewey, Donald Schon and Philippe Perrenoud, mainly in order to understand and analyze the importance of this issue. The reading and analysis of the contributions of the thinkers mentioned, took us to the following conclusions: Being a reflective teacher, is to train professionals capable of mastering their own evolution, building new skills or more accurate, from what has become theoretically and through their experience, creating autonomy and responsibility for their own training.
