El dominio del capital industrial y el fetichismo global que lo enmascara: Para una teoría marxista del sentido común

In Karl Marx’s Capital the domination of industri-al capital in bourgeois society is twice exalted: firstly, to rec-ognize it, as if it were commonly a blind spot in our con-sciousness; secondly, in view of denying it in a revolutionary way on the basis of prior recognition of its existence. The first volume of Capital is quintessentially the one that demonstrates the validity of the domain of capital while de-nouncing its cover-up. This cover-up is the theme that is developed in this article: a topic that has relevance for psy-chology and of which the author has been concerned for decades when studying contemporary common sense. Here is exposed a theory of common sense that the same author has developed from the theory of the fetishism of the merchandise exposed by Marx in the first chapter of Volume I of Capital.En el objeto teórico de El capital de Karl Marx se exalta por dos veces el dominio del capital industrial en la sociedad burguesa: una vez para reconocerlo, como si comúnmente fuera un punto ciego de nuestra conciencia; otra vez en vista de negarlo revolucionariamente sobre la base del previo reconocimiento de su existencia. El tomo primero de El capital es por antonomasia el que demuestra la vigencia del dominio del capital al tiempo que denuncia su encubrimiento. Este encubrimiento es el tema que se desarrolla en el presente artículo: un tema que tiene relevancia para la psicología y del que el autor se ha ocupado por décadas al estudiar el sentido común contemporáneo. Se expone aquí una teoría del sentido común que el mismo autor ha desarrollado a partir de la teoría del fetichismo de la mercancía expuesta por Marx en el capítulo primero del tomo I de El capital
