Virtual reality has been researched as an intervention method that may contribute as a non-pharmacological treatment. Objective: to analyze the Parkinson-disease-elderly people’s gait and balance performance using five Nintendo Wii videogames. Methods: an intervention study, 13 60-to-80-year-old-people with Parkinson’s disease of varied academic levels. An in-depth clinical anamnesis and some gait and balance tests using the Berg Scale and Time Up and Go test were administered. The participants had 14 sessions twice a week, and shortly after the end the Berg and TUG tests were re-evaluated.
