We present the reflections and conclusions derived from the experience of carrying out an educational project from the field of non-formal education and under the critical intercultural approach, which was carried out in a Mayan town in Yucatan, Mexico. The reproductive function of schooling that modifies any social relationship that seeks the integral, full development of the student is evidenced and a model of participation generated from, in and for the community is proposed with a view to a transformation of capacities and freedoms for an improvement of educational quality and life of the participants.Apresentamos as reflexões e conclusões derivadas da experiência de realizar um projeto educacional no campo da educação não formal e sob ...
