The inclusion of groups traditionally excluded from higher education: poor, indigenous, disabled, blacks, among others; It has become a topic of interest and debate at an international and national level. In this sense, there are some theoretical and practical gaps that pose substantial challenges to inclusion, and that, therefore, constitute a starting point for progress towards a true integrality in the quality of higher education in the region.
