Negociación de roles en grupos escolares de facebook: estudio de caso

In this paper we attempt to analyze the negotiation of social roles between students and teachers in the new interactive contexts mediated by technological medium.The object of the analysis is a school group in the social network Facebook. From the theoretical framework of Systemic Functional Linguistics and Multimodal Theory, we attempted to account for the realization of interpersonal metafunction in this Facebook group; and, from the methodological apparatus of the ethnography of communication and conversation analysis, we describe the interactions to observe the roles played by participants in their discursive interactions and the resources they use.The study reveals that in a virtual space as Facebook, the traditional roles between teachers and students are reconfigured through resources that relieve the extent of imposition of participants over others and others that promote the care of the image of the partners; while it is enabling the development of trade relations and affection between subjects. The development of an educationalvirtual space in a social network facilitates communication between subjects and contributes to education in the classroom space, without jeopardizing the social images of teachers and students.En este trabajo se analiza la negociación de roles sociales entre estudiantes y docentes en contextos interactivos mediados por las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación; se trata de un grupo de Facebooken el que participan alumnos y profesores. Desde del marco teórico de la Lingüística Sistémico Funcional y de la Teoría de la Multimodalidad, se busca dar cuenta de la realización de la metafunción interpersonal en las interacciones del grupo de Facebook. A partir del aparato metodológico de la Etnografía de la Comunicación y del Análisis de la Conversación, se observaron los roles asumidos por los participantes en sus interacciones discursivas y los recursos utilizados. El estudio revela que en un espacio virtual como Facebook, los roles tradicionales entre docentes y alumnos se reconfiguran a través de recursos que mitigan el grado de imposición entre participantes y propician el cuidado de la imagen de los interlocutores, a la vez que permiten el desarrollo de relaciones de intercambio y de afecto entre los sujetos. El desarrollo de un espacio virtual educativo en una red social tan extendida y utilizada facilita la comunicación entre los sujetos y contribuye con la educación, preservando las imágenes sociales de docentes y alumnos
