The tactical planning in soccer should primarily base its constitution in the gaming functionality, considering both general and specific aspects, as well as factors outside the procedural terms of the game. In this way, the bibliographic and descriptive study aims to point out important principles for structuring a tactical planning in soccer, highlighting key components in this process. The general aspects related to the club´s philosophy and working conditions conducted in accordance with specific aspects of the game’s tactical nature are extremely important in structuring the planning. Therefore, understanding the game goes beyond its internal specificity, transcending to its other external aspects.La planificación táctica en el fútbol debe basarse principalmente en la funcionalidad del juego, teniendo en cuenta los aspectos generales y específicos, así como los factores externos al desarrollo del juego. En este sentido, el presente estudio bibliográfico y descriptivo, tiene como objetivo señalar aspectos importantes para la organización de una planificación táctica en el fútbol. Los aspectos generales relacionados con la filosofía del club y las condiciones de trabajo llevadas a cabo de acuerdo con aspectos específicos de la naturaleza táctica, son muy importantes en el diseño de la planificación. Por lo tanto, entender el juego va más allá de su especificidad interna, trascendiendo a otros aspectos externos del mismo
