Abstract This work aims at carrying out a survey and description of students’ participation policies in schools, in addition to identifying methods for the implementation of these policies and reflecting on how School Psychology can contribute to the development of these proposals. It articulates the contributions of the dialogical education defended by Paulo Freire and the assumptions of the German Critical Psychology in order to build a framework for psychologists in schools and thus help them strengthen and promote the autonomy of the subjects.
