The present article aims at analyzing different political-identitary aspects of the notions of historical consciousness, political culture and nation of 15 year old students from three neighboring countries: Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay. This work is part of the project called �Jovens diante da História�, which sought inspiration in an experience conducted by European researchers called �Youth and History�, started in 1994. Based on a survey with more than 40 questions directed to students and teachers of the studied countries, a number of situations were selected in which the students approached topics related to the goals of the research.
