One of the objectives of this report is to relocate biological aspects in the place they belong to -within the conceptual framework of what we call human nature-; to highlight its importance and to suggest the type of methodologies that will be needed to assign to biological and social factors the place they belong to in the explanation of human behaviour. The article states that none of the theories of individual differences will be viable unless it is intimately connected to the bio/social conception of human behaviour, whose motivation is favoured both by biological factors and by cultural and social ones, and which shows that intraspecies differences, in terms of traits and aptitudes, are genetically and socially determined.
