Catar y la crisis diplomática en el golfo Pérsico

Qatar, an emirate with around 2.7 million of residents, has seen tighten its diplomatic relations with the neighbors of the Persian Gulf after Saudi Arabian, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen, among others, have implemented coercive measures in order to isolate the country at the beginning of 2017. This conflict isn´t new due to previous frictions between Riyadh and Doha, a consequence of the main role that Qatar is taking as a regional power. It has developed a soft power foreign policy through its oil, gas and economic capacity, a reputation that irritates the Guardian of the Hole Places.
