La empleabilidad de los sujetos desde las infraestructuras de transporte

This paper is a theoretical study approaching the field of transportation infrastructures and the shaping of identities. It attempts to materialize the formation of identities and situate them in the urban space. It returns to past work in urban anthropology and geography that resort to certain metaphors to communicate infrastructure and identity domains. On this basis, it is hypothesized that the growing construction of public transportation infrastructure supports the emergence of a kind of subjectivity typical of the neoliberal metropolis that can be understood through the metaphor of employability.El presente artículo es una indagación teórica que acerca el campo de las infraestructuras de transporte al de la formación de las identidades. El artículo presenta un primer esfuerzo por materializar los procesos de formación de las identidades y ubicarlos en el espacio urbano. En él, se retoman algunos trabajos en antropología y geografía urbana que utilizan ciertas metáforas para comunicar los órdenes infraestructural e identitario. A partir de ellos se propone la hipótesis de que la creciente construcción de infraestructura de transporte urbano propende a generar un tipo de sujeto propio de las metrópolis neoliberales que podemos reconocer bajo la metáfora de la empleabilidad
