Teoria e prática na formação docente: relação (s)e(m) perspectiva

This article discusses the need of improving the educational process ofthe Portuguese language teacher with the purpose of (re)establishing therelationship between theory and practice in the literacy learning and teachingprocess. In order to do so, it is necessary to implement a policy whose goal isthe reflexive and critical teacher so that s/he could be capable of transformingthe school context into a learning and researching environment. In this view,teacher education through literacy/literacies is/can be the proper way leadingto this kind of practice grounded on the work with discourse genres.Neste artigo, discute-se a necessidade de implementação do processo formativodo professor de língua materna, na perspectiva de (re)estabelecer a relaçãoteoria-prática no processo ensino-aprendizagem da leitura e da escrita. Paratanto, é necessário assumir uma política cuja meta seja o professor reflexivoe crítico, capaz de transformar o espaço escolar em ambiente de ensino epesquisa.
