Currently, Brazil is the largest producer and exporter of tropical forage seeds in Latin America, where the demand for seeds quality and quantity has been leading the entire production chain. This study aimed at evaluating sexual interspecific hybrid populations in order to select genitors to assist in cultivated tropical pastures of Brachiaria genus diversification. The experiment was conducted at Embrapa Beef Cattle in Campo Grande-MS, during the January-August 2013 period.
