Reminiscencias temáticas en El amor y la muerte de Goyescas-los majos enamorados

The piano suite Goyescas, Los major enamorados, by the Spanish composer E. Granados, is a collection of six pieces inspired by the society in Madrid in the 18th century that F. Goya portrayed in his paintings. The fame of this piano suite led Granados to create an homonymous opera. Therefore, Goyescas is a complex artistic work that brings together the painting, poetry and music, all under a strong Spanish context. El amor y la muerte, the fifth work of the collection, is one of the pieces with greater connection to the painting by Goya and the other pieces of the suite due to its thematic character. In this article we analyse and deal with this aspect that will probably facilitate the understanding and performance of the pieceLa suite para piano Goyescas, Los majos enamorados, del compositor español E. El amor y la muerte, quinto número de la colección, es una de las piezas con mayor relación con la pintura de Goya y con el resto de piezas de la suite por su carácter temático. En este artículo abordaremos y analizaremos este aspecto que nos facilitarán el entendimiento e interpretación de la piez
