This study aims to analyze the family influence and of social networks on the business creation by young entrepreneurs. This study is qualitative, exploratory and the research method adopted was multiple case study. Three cases studies were analyzed of enterprises created for more than two years for Sergipe’s 18-34 year-old young entrepreneurs. Data were collected by semistructured personal interviews with young entrepreneurs and were analyzed through content analysis.
